Update 1.5: The Summer Housekeeping Update As we previewed early, the changes to remove the floating banner advertisement and tidy up a couple game interfaces is now live. Where do I download the update? You should visit the Apple app store to download the 1.5 update. Click here  to visit the Apple app store to begin downloading the update. What sort of things are in this update? The exciting change for us is the removal of the banner ad showing in the game. We've removed that altogether. Get your puzzle on! In addition to this, we've added a few more buttons and cleaned up a couple game interfaces. We think you'll like the small changes we've done there as we tidy up the title. GET YOUR PUZZLE ON!

Monster Smash 2017 The surprise, sleeper hit Monster Smash 2017 is getting some much needed love! After reviewing feedback and usage for the game, we've gone in and made some small tweaks that we think you're going to like. For starters, that advertising banner bar? Removed. We fed it to the monsters. There's no good reason we can think of to have a banner ad showing on the game surface.  Oh, and we're doing a small touch-up of a couple key interfaces. In 1.5 of Monster Smash, we're doing just a small pass to get things situated.

Want to know more about the REMOVAL of pervasive advertising in the 1.4 update of Sky Wars? Read on, here. In this post we hear from the development team's thoughts on why advertising was completely rethought in Sky Wars. Hello there! There's a balancing act in mobile games. On the one hand, as a player you expect and tolerate a certain amount of intrusiveness for a free game. If it doesn't support IAP, most likely the game has advertising. If the advertising is done well, then you shouldn't even notice. If it's not done well, then you're like Buzz and Woody here: It's not fun to work on skill mastery of a level, only to experience both crushing defeat and then be presented an ad immediately after being blown to pieces. One of our first steps to making Sky War just a better game was to go back to basics and look at what makes it fun. Is it fun watching advertisements on every screen?
